Honey Jones-Hughes is a Welsh artist currently based in Rotterdam, NL; where she is an MFA candidate at the Piet Zwart Institute. Prior to this she studied at The Glasgow School of Art, and Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Working with a mixture of video, strangers, friends, and text she explores place-making. Investigating how we connect, and in what we connect to; in where we live, and how we live. Thinking with the issues that arise in line with culture-led regeneration, and alternate models for living. She has recently shown work at 504, London; The Fish Tank, Cardiff; Neverland, Rotterdam (during Rotterdam International Film Festival); Torpedo Theatre, Amsterdam; W_lf_rt Project Space, Rotterdam; Swimming Pool, Sofia; and LLAWN06, Llandudno.
